Welcome to Silky Ears Spaniels

We are a small, dedicated breeder of purebred pedigree English Cocker Spaniels based in Cockatoo, in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria between Emerald and Gembrook. Our dogs are raised as part of our family and remain with us for life, never rehomed and every litter is carefully planned with the goal of producing well bred puppies that grow into loved companions in their forever homes.

English Cocker Spaniels are known for their affectionate nature, gentle temperament and beautiful looks, these are qualities we are committed to preserving in every pairing. We place a strong emphasis on health, temperament and early socialisation to give each puppy the best possible start in life. From birth, our puppies are raised in a home environment and exposed to everyday household activity and other dogs, helping them grow up to be confident, well adjusted dogs.

Each puppy has a comprehensive veterinary check and receives vaccinations, microchipping and regular worming in line with best practice. We work closely with our veterinary team to ensure every puppy is progressing well and meeting key developmental milestones.

We are incredibly proud of our breeding program and the ethical practices, sound husbandry and a genuine commitment to both our dogs and the breed we have built it on. We are focused on raising healthy, stable and well socialised dogs that are true to type and bring endless happiness to their families.
