Bringing Your Puppy Home

Welcoming a new puppy into your home is a significant and exciting for both you and your puppy. It’s a huge change for them, marking the biggest change in their lives so far. We understand the importance of making this transition as smooth as possible, which is why we prepare our puppies before they go to their new homes. Our approach includes building strong social bonds, instilling confidence and trust from an early age and providing a comprehensive puppy pack that helps ensure your puppy feels comfortable and settle in seamlessly.

As dedicated breeders, we are committed to providing ongoing support and guidance to our puppies' families. We are always here to answer your questions and provide advice as your puppy grows. Additionally, we love receiving updates and seeing how our puppies thrive and become loved members of your family. Your stories and photos bring us much happiness and satisfaction, knowing our puppies are living wonderful lives.

Your Puppy Will Come Home:

Vaccinated

Your puppy will have received their first C3 vaccine at 6 weeks of age, protecting against distemper, hepatitis and parvovirus. This initial vaccination is crucial for their early immunity and sets the foundation for their immunity.

Microchipped

Each puppy is microchipped before going to their new home. This ensures a permanent method of identification, which is important if your puppy ever wanders off. Microchip information will be provided to you, along with instructions on how to update your contact details.

Wormed

Our puppies are wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age as a preventative measure. Young puppies are particularly susceptible to intestinal parasites due to their underdeveloped immune systems. This fortnightly worming regimen is recommended to continue until they are 12 weeks old. Your puppy pack will include vouchers for enough worming medication to cover this period.

Vet Checked

Every puppy undergoes a thorough health examination by a veterinarian and is given a clean bill of health. This vet check ensures that your puppy is healthy and ready to join your family.

Insurance and Support

- Pet Insurance: To give you peace of mind, our puppies go home with 4 weeks of free Knose Pet insurance, with additional 4 weeks if you sign up. This initial coverage helps protect against unexpected events as your puppy settles in.

- Ongoing Support: We are committed to providing support for our puppies and their families. We also enjoy receiving updates and staying connected with our extended puppy family.

Our extensive complementary puppy packs are thoughtfully selected to include items to aid the transition from our home to yours. It is filled with essentials and goodies to help your puppy settle in and adjust to their new surroundings.

While the contents may vary between litters, you can expect variations of the following items in all of our puppy packs:

Document Folder

This contains all essential information, including microchipping and vaccination records. Keeping these documents organised and accessible is important for future vet visits and health monitoring.

Royal Canin Voucher

You will receive a voucher for a bag of complimentary Royal Canin dry food and a bowl. This helps ensure your puppy continues to enjoy the same high quality nutrition they are accustomed to.

Lyka Pouch

A fresh meat pack from Lyka provides familiar flavours and helps maintain a balanced diet during the transition.

Treats

Various treats are included to aid with training and positive reinforcement. These treats are chosen to be both delicious and nutritious, making training sessions enjoyable for your puppy.

Food Samples

A selection of food samples is provided to help you find what your puppy likes best. This can be especially useful if you plan to transition to a different brand or type of food.

Puppy Pads

These are essential for puppy toilet training. Puppy pads help manage accidents and teach your puppy where it is appropriate to relieve themselves.

Poop Bags

For those first walks outside, poop bags are included to help you clean up after your puppy and keep the environment tidy.

Puppy Collar

Your puppy will go home with the collar they’ve been wearing as they grow. This familiar item provides comfort and helps with collar training.

Worming Medication

To continue routine worming, we provide enough medication to cover the recommended schedule until your puppy is 12 weeks old.

Comfort Items

We include a toy and a blanket that carry the comforting scents of their litter and mother. These items help your puppy feel secure and comforted in their new environment, easing the transition and reducing stress.
