If you live outside of Victoria, we’re happy to arrange interstate transport for your puppy, all travel related expenses are to be covered by you. We prefer air transport over road transport as it’s generally less stressful for the puppy, offering a shorter journey. Our preferred company for puppy transport is AeroPets, a company we’ve worked with many times with excellent results. However, if you’d like to use another company, we’re open to that, though AeroPets is our top recommendation.
To ensure your puppy receives clearance for the trip, a veterinary health check is required within two weeks of the flight, which includes a consultation and health certificate. This vet service typically costs around $100. For air travel, puppies are transported in an airline approved crate, which can be purchased or hired (hiring is usually the more affordable option). The crate will include a provided puppy pad and a water bowl that can be refilled from the outside. Please note, no additional items like toys are allowed.
Transport costs typically range from $300 to $400, depending on the destination within Australia, with a quote available for exact pricing. We only offer transport within Australia, we do not send our puppies internationally.
For families located within Victoria, we can help arrange transport for your new puppy. If you’re within a reasonable distance, I may personally be able to meet you at a mutually convenient location to bring your puppy to you. If a personal drop off isn’t feasible, road transport is also an option. We recommend DogMovers, a road transport company we’ve had great experiences with and trust for safe, comfortable journeys.
Please note that full payment, including transport costs, must be cleared prior to any transportation arrangements. This ensures everything is ready for your puppy's journey to their new home!
